Batterie du Cap Nègre

Six-Fours-les-Plages

Place of exhibition. The 1st battery was reorganised under Louis Philippe I (1846-50).

The battery is a military work of coastal defence. Its advantageous position between the bay of Sanary and the Brusc roadstead gives it an essential role in the protection of the Toulon coastline.

Access by bus Réseau Mistral: from Seyne Centre, Six Fours Centre or Toulon with line 72 to the "Méditerranée" stop.
