Our must-haves

The best from Six-Fours-les-Plages to Ollioules

Six-Fours and Ollioules: complementing land and sea

While Ollioules captivates with its authentic Provencal charm, picturesque alleyways and vestiges of its medieval past, Six-Fours charms with its beaches, the Ile des Embiez and its many seaside activities. From the Gros Cerveau and Châteauvallon in Ollioules to the Cap Sicié massif in Six-Fours, our forest walks and hikes take you between pine and oak forests, balcony paths and panoramic sea views. On the stalls of Provencal markets or designer markets, producers and craftsmen showcase their specialties and expertise, such as Jonquier nougat.

Le Brusc and its lagoon

In Le Brusc, just beyond the port, the calm of the lagoon contrasts with the sometimes rough seas of the Pointe du Gaou and the windy beaches of Six-Fours-les-Plages. The shallow, lagoon-like waters, the colorful dinghies moored here, the nearby Gaou and the hills in the distance give this place a peaceful atmosphere that you’ll never tire of photographing. Beyond the beauty of the landscape, this is a haven of biodiversity for local flora and fauna.

Just a stone’s throw inland from Six-Fours-les-Plages, the commune of Ollioules – about ten kilometers from Toulon – will surprise you with its rich cultural heritage and ancient center dotted with art workshops. All year round, you can enjoy a stroll through its historic heart, visiting the flower museum, the public school museum or climb up to the feudal castle, testimony to the commune’s rich medieval past. Along the Canal des Arrosants, take a break on a shady bench on the edge of the Promenade de la Reppe.
