The Cap Sicié massif

A wooded jewel between Six-Fours and La Seyne-sur-Mer

Nature just a stone’s throw from the city

A vast area of Mediterranean forest, the Cap Sicié massif stretches over 1,600 hectares between Le Brusc in Six-Fours and Fabrégas in La Seyne-sur-Mer. The massif abounds in a multitude of forest species, some of which are protected: cysts, cork oaks, broom, Aleppo pines, junipers… Between wooded and maritime landscapes, Cap Sicié earns its letters of nobility in spring and autumn. Relax with the family in the Janas forest, or take a more sporty hike, horseback ride, mountain bike ride or guided tour: the massif invites you to enjoy its generous nature.

Janas, the unanimously acclaimed forest

Just a few minutes from the center of La Seyne-sur-Mer, the Janas forest is ideal for your outdoor pursuits, whether on your own, with the kids or with your dog. Whether on a bike, in a stroller, on a leisurely stroll or for a morning jog, every moment spent on these forest paths is a privileged moment.

The starting point for your walks

Janas is the starting point for numerous itineraries and trails. In summer, when the forest is closed to motor vehicles, the Janas forest parking lot is the closest point of access to Notre-Dame-du-Mai and its exceptional view of the Hyères islands and Toulon harbor. If you’re a sporty type, you can also get there via the coastal path from Fabrégas or Mont Salva.

Marie’s fun and scientific walks

The Janas forest has a thousand and one stories to tell. That’s how Marie Couzinet, a passionate science animator, organizes tours for children accompanied by their parents, during which you’ll take it in turns to be a witch, an alchemist or even a prehistoric man! Fun and instructive, these walks are a great way to spend some quality family time.
