Sabine Tamisier gives a theatrical reading of her latest play "L'enclos" (Editions Théâtrales), in which she tackles universal themes with her usual talent: friendship, generations, grief, relationships with animals, education, family...
4th cover of "L'Enclos
"Young Ezekiel and his dog Dino are no longer happy. Since the death of the boy's mother, his father has imposed a hard life on them. Ézéchiel has to work on the farm, while Dino remains tied up in the cold of his paddock.
A few steps away, Célestine and her cat Léo live a very different life. Free and inseparable, they come and go as they please and share the school's daily routine. When the two children and their pets meet, Célestine sets herself a mission: to bring back to Ezéchiel and Dino the joy they've lost. With the help of the village's only class teacher, she tries to awaken the humanity buried in the heart of Ezéchiel's father.
After Danse Célestine, in which she explored the links between generations, Sabine Tamisier probes those between humans and animals. A touching text on mourning and freedom, which shows how friendship can be life-saving.
