There’s no better way to discover our destination than by bike , while preserving our environment. Take to the open air on our cycle paths along the coast, through towns and villages, vineyards, islands and peninsulas. In the sunshine, all year round, young and old alike will make wonderful discoveries.
From the Pesquiers salt flats to l’Ayguade
– Hyeres
From Hyères station, set off on a beautiful 18-kilometer loop through the area’s most beautiful landscapes and ecosystems, including the Pesquiers salt marshes. This protected wetland is the heart of the Hyères ornithological reserve. You’ll see the emblematic pink flamingo. The starting point is accessible by public transport. All levels.
Porquerolles discovery tours

4 themed tours, referenced by the Parc National de Port-Cros, take you along the paths of the island of Porquerolles, between lagoons, forts and vineyards.

The Giens peninsula via Carqueiranne
– Carqueiranne
This route around the Giens peninsula, departing from Hyères SNCF station, is ideal for families. The route combines paved and dirt tracks, passing by beaches, the archaeological site of Olbia, the salt marshes and the Hyères bird sanctuary. The village of La Capte and Toulon airport are also on the route.
An ideal family outing. The route is mainly paved, with a few sections of dirt track. There is no cycle path on the Salt Route. It’s closed to cars from November to the beginning of May, which makes it a pedestrian and cycle route, but in summer it’s a road (so bicycles find themselves with cars in no special lane).
Depart from Toulon’s Mourillon beaches. From here, head west along the Frédéric Mistral coastline and discover Toulon’s maritime history.
Toulon looping via Le Pradet
– Toulon and Le Pradet
Approach Fort Saint-Louis, the Tour Royale and the Musée National de la Marine, before following the coastal cycle path (V65). There are two possible detours: to the Domaine de la Navicelle or the Plan de la Garde nature reserve. The route ends at the Mourillon beaches, offering a refreshing swim.
From Bonnegrâce beach to Gaou island
– Six-Fours-les-Plages
This walk, starting fromBonnegrâce beach, is ideal for discovering the Six-Fours-les-Plages coastline through all its landscapes. Short and accessible to all, it offers plenty of time to stop and enjoy the various points of interest along the way.
This itinerary passes through the Coudoulière woods, with visits to the Maison du Cygne and the Coudou Parc tree-climbing park. It continues to the beaches of La Coudoulière and Le Cros, then the port of Le Brusc and the pier to Ile des Embiez. The return journey takes in the Gaou peninsula and the Parc de la Méditerranée.
This loop requires good physical condition, but is accessible to all levels. If you’re not totally fit, just allow yourself enough time to go at your own pace.
The Six-Fours-les-Plages loop between sea and mountains
– Six-Fours-les-Plages
A loop between Ollioules SNCF station and Bonnegrâce beach, offering a pleasant cycle path. A coastal crossing with views of the cliffs and the Cap Sicié massif. After climbing Gros Pin, you descend to Fort Balaguier and Pont Levant, offering superb panoramic views.
Loop around Mont Faron
– Toulon
Departing from Toulon station, you ride around Mount Faron. You can take your bike to the summit by cable car. The route offers panoramic views of Toulon and the harbor, while passing through commemorative sites. On the Faron plateau, you can visit the memorial to the D-Day landings in Provence , before descending to the city via a winding road.
A great challenge for the most athletic riders! With almost 800 meters of positive altitude difference over a distance of 28 kilometers, the profile promises some fine climbs, with sections in excess of 10%.
