Red interiors" exhibition

Mel Jan is a painter from Toulon. Self-taught, she draws her lessons and inspiration from the world around her, a world where color and light are a major preoccupation.

"Intérieurs rouges" is the culmination of long reflections on the expression of "home". It combines the desire to see beauty and art in the simplicity of everyday life, and the desire to make something extraordinary out of it.
The aim of this collection is to draw the viewer into the heart of these interior scenes, to rediscover a sense of "home" all their own.

In this pictorial exploration, Mel Jan has translated her work into oil paint, which she considers to be, in this current quest, the medium best able to convey the light, color and interiority of her project.
