The experience

Discover the Collégiale Saint-Pierre, an emblematic historic monument perched atop the hill of Vieux Six-Fours. This site bears witness to centuries of history and offers an immersion in the religious and architectural heritage of Six-Fours-les-Plages. Enjoy an enriching visit combining art, history and exceptional panoramic views.
The Collégiale Saint-Pierre stands 210 m above sea level on the hill of Vieux Six-Fours, overlooking the harbor of Toulon and the island of Les Embiez. A historic monument since 1840, it features an initial Romanesque construction dating from the XIᵉ century, to which are added a XIIIᵉ century bell tower and a Gothic extension built in 1608.
The tour takes you inside a building where different architectural periods harmonize, including a Gothic nave with six chapels and modern stained-glass windows designed by Swiss artist Adrian Schiess. The interior also houses several works of art, including paintings from the XVIᵉ and XVIIᵉ centuries and a polyptych attributed to Louis Bréa.
This site, once the heart of the old fortified village, tells the story of Six-Fours and its community since the Middle Ages.
