The proposed experiment
On this guided tour of the center of Toulon, your guide will introduce you to a number of characters whose destinies intersected with those of the city. The tour includes Dame Sibille, a medieval figure whose story is engraved on the walls of the cathedral, and Raimu, who was as influential in his life as he was in his films.
The tour also looks at the history of convicts, both famous and unknown, such as Vidocq, as well as darker figures such as Father Girard and the young Cadière. Other personalities include Pierre Puget, Claude Farrère and his view of the Toulon of the “little allies”, Félix Mayol, Clémenceau, Rochemore, Bonaparte and Admiral de Laborde.
