From an early age, Jean-Emmanuel RICCIO was drawn to the classical guitar. He entered the Nice CNRR, where he was unanimously awarded first prize for guitar in Henry Dorigny's class. He also won an advanced prize at the same conservatory.
Alongside his studies, he has won several competitions, including the Concours National du jeune musicien de Lempdes and the Heitor Villa-Lobos International Competition.
As a guitar teacher, he performs regularly in concert.
As a child, Thaïs DHUHAUTOIS began her musical studies in south-east France, before continuing at the CNRR de Lyon in Christophe Truant's class, where she was unanimously awarded a first prize, followed by an advanced prize, also unanimously awarded. She then entered the Geneva Conservatory of Music (HEM) in Florence SITRUK's class, where she obtained a Master's degree in concert performance and teaching.
As a harp teacher, she multiplies her musical experiences, performing in concert, in various chamber music and orchestral formations, as well as in recital.

The corde 53 duo was born of the desire to explore the complementary nature of two instruments whose sounds are so similar, yet so different, and whose repertoires sometimes overlap. The duo invites you on a musical journey through the music of the world. From America to Europe, the duo will introduce you to works inspired by dance, cinema and folklore, revisiting classics from the repertoire or performing original works. A musical world tour in 80 minutes!
