Festival Jazz à Porquerolles – Concert at Fort Sainte-Agathe
Opening act: Raï Nomade & Voix Rebelles
The Jazz à Porquerolles Festival welcomes an exceptional musical creation by Sofiane Saidi, a leading figure in modern Raï, accompanied by Camélia Jordana and violin virtuoso Théo Ceccaldi.
A blend of Algerian traditions, rock energy, contemporary jazz and sonic experimentation, this original trio offers an intense musical journey without borders. Conceived as a dialogue between Mediterranean cultures, this original creation resonates with the music of the Maghreb in a resolutely modern and daring approach.
Sofiane Saidi’s powerful, magnetic voice infuses the project with all the richness of contemporary Raï, a music of freedom and crossbreeding. At his side, Camélia Jordana, a major artist on the French scene, brings a luminous and deeply sensitive presence. Arrangements by Théo and Valentin Ceccaldi, featuring violin, cello and modern textures, enrich this vibrant, cinematic creation.
Presented in the exceptional setting of Fort Sainte-Agathe in Porquerolles, this evening promises to be one of the highlights of the Jazz à Porquerolles Festival and a symbolic opening to the Mediterranean Season.
